DESIGN AUTHORSHIP
Design author is a collective term given to the work of a designer.. Designers write books to reflect their personal interests and researches. They make some collections and these collections feed their work. To share their collection they write books..

design-author is a designer who is:

the starter of a project, idea or concept, 
plus:

the creator of content, maker of texts, information, meanings, one who enjoys an active role in content creation, as a maker, contributor or editor of content, plus:

 the designer, the maker of the final form;
plus:

publishes, exhibits or distributes
the form in public


In my opinion:
designer can be an author at the same time to share his/her works, researches etc. Graphic design needs "design authorship" otherwise design will only exist as a service industry. Design authorship is a necessity for the future evolution of design. For designer to make authorship, the designer must act like an author.
